Singapore Community Cats in the Spotlight: Photography Competition Showcase

Singapore’s community cats are gentle, resilient, and often overlooked members of our neighborhoods. From void decks to back alleys, they quietly roam our streets, seeking shelter, food, and a little kindness. These cats are not strays, they are part of our shared environment, coexisting with us in urban corners.

My story with Little Black began when I had just arrived in Singapore. Each afternoon, on my way home from school, I would cut through the garden and narrow paths beneath the HDB blocks. There, I often came across the community cats. They were not strays, but rather companions nurtured
